Recommended:
Wear sunscreen, bring a hat and water. Wear comfortable clothing and lightweight trousers (to protect your knees if you choose to go down the dunes headfirst). Closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended. Please do not wear flip-flops.

Are pickups included?
No. Huacachina is a small village with only a few streets. You will need to make your way to the designated meeting point.
Why are there only two departure times?
During the middle of the day, the sand can become extremely hot due to the strong desert sun. Afternoon departures allow you to enjoy breathtaking panoramic desert views and experience a spectacular sunset. For this reason, we only operate at these specific times.
What should I bring?
We recommend bringing sunscreen, a hat, water, comfortable clothing, lightweight trousers (to protect your knees if you decide to slide headfirst), and closed-toe shoes. Flip-flops are not recommended. Sunglasses are essential to protect your eyes from the sand during the buggy ride.
Can I drive the buggy myself?
No. For safety reasons, only certified and trained drivers are permitted to operate the buggies. Driving through the dunes requires experience and special authorization.
Are the buggies safe?
Yes. All our buggies are equipped with seatbelts for each passenger. Our professional drivers prioritize both safety and enjoyment throughout the experience.
Is sandboarding safe?
Yes, when following the guide’s instructions. We recommend riding the board in a lying position, as standing can be more challenging.

-Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour are non-refundable
-No-shows will be charged 100% of the total amount
-In case of bad weather or unforeseen operational circumstances, customers will be offered the option to reschedule the experience or receive a full refund
